'Stallman to speak at college fete' - Education Plus - The Hindu, Kochi

Richard Stallman, guru of the free software movement, will attend the inauguration of “TechFest” being organised by KMEA Engineering College, Edathala, as part of its decennial celebrations on January 24. Dr. Stallman will deliver the first Decennial Year Commemorative Lecture and will speak on the Free Software Movement and Linux/GNU operating system. The talk will be webcast live on www.rmsinkmea.in. Dr. Stallman will inaugurate an anonymous FTP server dedicated to free software on the campus.
